NINJA SCROLL SECRET: NINJA IN THE DRAGONS DEN

 Upon viewing the film, "NINJA IN THE DRAGONS DEN" we see Ninja Scroll Secrets sneakily placed innocently into the script that appears to have no bearing on martial arts, but on the contrary, it does. 

"All Hot and Bothered Over Nothing". 

This is one of the most important martial arts lessons to learn to this day, especially for modern ninjas as their problems they face, gets them all "hot and bothered over nothing". Proper energy and emotional and intellectual management is essential to organizing one's ninja energy, so that it is harnessed and used properly. The ninja, should never waste their time and energy on un-necessary activities, or acting "Out of Ninja Character". This "All Hot and Bothered Over Nothing is a ruse and a clever ploy, a trick, a deception to get you to "Step Out of Ninja Character". 

In the film, Charlie is reading a dirty book, that has dirty illustrations. He is caught by his ninja friend, Genbu who was doing some very hardcore gravitational-defying physical training that beats most gym routines. Genbu accuses Charlie of always reading dirty books and catching him reading dirty books all the time and that he has dirty thoughts on his mind. Charlie defends himself accusing Genbu of not thinking of women or even trying to get laid and that Charlie himself has the right to think about sex. But Genbu says it's all bullshit, and that Charlie is getting "All Hot and Bothered Over Nothing". Genbu is right. Charlie says Genbu is right and that Charlie himself, he must "study a real woman". 

A similar lesson is taught by Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon". Here Bruce Lee confronts a young student and tests his skills. Bruce Lee tells the extraordinary tale of the moon. "When gazing at the moon, one must not focus on the finger pointing at the moon, or you will lose the essence of the Moon". This can be interpreted in a way that "When gazing at a woman, one must not focus not the penis pointing at the woman, or you will lose the essence of the woman".

why there should be a deaf character in the films

  

 Using a deaf character, adds a fresh perspective in a world of vast entertainment of vast stories, thus giving the screenwriter a new way of story forms and structures. Considering the vast amount of series and episodes that make up a massive amount of stories, and to be fresh, not using a cookie-cutter sheet method, but yet getting a cognitive effect on the audience. Its rather very interesting to have a deaf superhero, because, a super power gives the hero a strange advantage to fight evil, that takes him out of reality into the supernatural, and yet at the same time is deaf, having a struggle that is kin to mortal man and is symbolic of mankind's struggles. Audiences like to see their hero overcome their struggles and win in the end. Action films are predictable, we know the hero will win and will get the bad guys and defeat the big boss. The twist is that a deaf hero is unique in being a somewhat of a new character, if not so new already. Using a deaf hero character offers the screenwriter rich new groundwork from which to write a script. 

  If we are to examine "Remakes" and usually many remakes are doomed to failure. Why? Because of excess production, it becomes marked with a 'curse', according to Surrealist Theorist Georges Bataille. To quote, Bataille insists that an organism's growth or expansion always runs up against limits and becomes impossible. The wasting of this energy is "luxury". The form and role luxury assumes in a society are characteristic of that society. "The accursed share" refers to this excess, destined for waste. Unquote. So, if we are using the same patterns, the same scripts, the same titles, the same films, they become a wasting of energy, and thus become 'accursed' thus the title of his book, "The Accursed Share". So, the screenwriter and film-makers are challenged to make original media, in this world of vast entertainment, and thus, a a deaf character offers a way to make that "excess energy' be put to use that it doesn't become waste or impossible, and becomes a relevant work of production. 

 Bruce Lee, was actually a "new character" in his time, he was the first Chinese Hollywood movie star. At first, the producers actually wanted to use a previously famous white movie star to play his role in a script and film intended for Bruce Lee. Eventually Bruce got his way in and was to star in it, but the producer eventually scrapped the project. Then, the producer decided to hire Bruce Lee as the Green Hornet's sidekick, Kato. This went on for one season and was supposed to go for a second season but the producer, despite the acclaim and ratings the show got, ended it. Many Hollywood producers only think of money when they make a film. They were afraid of using Bruce Lee as a major role because he was Chinese. So, a Chinese film company, who was going bankrupt, decided to gamble on Bruce Lee and use him, and at this same time, the previous Hollywood producer had money in India but couldnt' transfer it to his Hollywood bank account, so he had to use that money in India. So he decided to have Bruce Lee make the film in India. But Bruce Lee turned it down to work for the Chinese producers, if they would give Bruce Lee control of the script and certain prodcution control- after the films were made Bruce Lee broke all box office records and made millions more than anyone could have dreamed of and went on to have his own film production company and  make his own films. Enter the Dragon and Game of Death are his own he wrote and filmed and acted in. 

Before Bruce Lee made any Kung Fu films, he watched the films that the company made and other films, and he felt that these pre-Bruce Lee Kung Fu films were bland with no script, just few dialogue and lots of fighting and a watery thin story. If you examine this problem, French philosopher Baudrillard, to quote, the simulacrum is essentially the copy of a copy, that is to say, the copy of something that is not itself an original, and is hence an utterly degraded form. At its limit, as in certain accounts of postmodernism, the simulacrum is used to deny the possibility of anything being the singular source or origin of either an idea or a thing.
As you can see, Bruce Lee felt the early Kung Fu films were too much simulacrum, they were copies of copies and all alike each other with very thin scripts. So he wrote his own scripts and changed the Kung Fu films and set a new standard to how they were made. He got standing ovations at the theaters with everyone standing and applauding and crowds following him everywhere. You could theorize that the early Kung Fu films were 'degraded' from having thin scripts and were just chop-socky fighting. Bruce Lee also set the standard high in choreography. The point here is that using a deaf character, will solve the film-makers problem with simulacrum when making a film. Bruce Lee was solving the simulacrum of his time with the martial arts film industry, as well as brining Kung Fu to America (the Chinese banned Kung Fu from America but Bruce Lee broke those rules, and he also broke simulacrum by creating JFK, making him the father of Mixed Martial Arts). As you have asked "Why use so many different characters' remember that Bruce Lee is that "different' character during that time. Hollywood was very reluctant and afraid to use Chinese as they fear losing money. It was a different time back then.

Excerpt from THE MODS


 Here is an excerpt from the book "The Mods". Chapter 1


 The Bonehead Skinhead was standing outside the DYM club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He waited for his target, a deaf Mod named David. The Inbreds, a group of father-fucker inbred rednecks who hated David for being different, for being Mod, and for being deaf, wanted to punish David. So they called in a Bonehead of the KKK Neo-Nazi Gang. The Inbred hated David for dressing Mod as if he came from Carnaby Street 1960's. The Inbreds dressed as if they went to the McMainstream Store to look all the same, the Inbred Redneck Father-Fucker haute coutre fashion style. The waited by the door to approach David as David regularily attends Retro 80s every Thursdays at the DYM. The Bonhead also came with this buttfuck friend, another Bonehead. Both were over six foot tall, burly with fat ass, and weighed over 200 lbs. David was a medium sized dude, only 5'6" tall and weighed 140 lbs. He was puny compared to the Ape size that were the Father-Fucker Boneheads who lick the shit off Hitler's Boots. The Bonehead had a Nazi flag emblem on his neck, and demon tattos and Nazi tattoos all over his arms. He had a double axe emblem indicating that he was a proud KKK chapter of the inbred redneck lands of Crapmore. 


The Bonehead noticed David and could pick him out of the crowd. David wore outlandish outfits that set him apart from anybody in Tulsa. He wore Mod threads, and sunglasses, and a hearing-aid. The Bonehead walked up to David and said, "Hey, you, Im gonna talk to you. You've seen the Revenge of the Nerds films, eh"

David was bothered by the approach of the Bonehead. He usually only wants to talk to hot chicks and nobody else. It cramps his style to talk to guys, especially a Bonehead. 

"Hell fuck yeah Ive seen the Revenge of the Nerds film, so fucking what". 

"Yeah well man" the Bonehead spoke. "See, in Revenge of the Nerds, the Nerds get their revenge, by getting the girls. But you see, this is Tulsa, where Deaf Nerds like you don't get their revenge. In Tulsa we hate deafies like you. The girls dont like you because you're deaf and we don't like deaf people". 

David looked at the Bonehead. "What? I can't hear you. I don't want to talk to someone who Fucks their Father, you Father-Fucker". 

The Bonehead repeated his statement again. David was deaf, after all. 

David finally heard it over the electro dance remix of Micheal Jackson thumping in the background. David simply walked away and had enough of wasting time talking to the Bonehead. There were girls to talk to and to pick up. 


Later that evening, David met a blonde girl and talked to her outside so he could hear her. They french kissed outside the door. The Bonehead got out, and was raging angry with jealousy at seeing the mod David french kiss a blonde girl. He was so jealous because the only score he got was from fucking his Father, for he was a father-fucking inbred redneck. He ran and did a sucker-punch on David's face in the middle of the french kiss, while David was not looking. David was shocked at the audacity and cowardice of the Skidmark Skinhead, and he punched the skinhead and there as a fight and while David punched and kicked the skinhead, he got the bonhead's blood all over his shirt. Eventually people ran in to break up the fight and the skinehead ran off before the police arrived. 



Excerpt from Chapter 4. 


"But I like David. He seems really cool and not afraid to dress differently as a Mod.", said Jessica. 

"But Jessica, he's deaf. Besides, its embarassing to be seen with him as he wears those crazy clothes."

"Who cares. Im tired of the plain, boring trucker caps and prep style that everyone wears in Tulsa" says Jessica. 

"If you go out with David again, Jessica, we wont' be your friend anymore". 

"What?? But I love David's cock. It feels so good in my cunt and  my mouth."

The girls were shocked. Jessica had sex with David, a deaf mod! That was taboo. That was unheard of in Tulsa. THe girls were angry and shocked at Jessica's relationship with deaf Mod David. They freaked out. 

"Really, you did, Jessica?" asked Sara. 

"Yeah, and its bigger than the tiny micropensis size" exclaimed Jessica. 

"Really? Im tired of the tiny micropensis size that my inbred redneck boyfriend has" says Sara. 

"We maybe I can share David with you" says Jessica. 

"Sure" says Sara. "Maybe we all can have a foursome with David".
